Sandbraes Holiday Park is a family run exclusive holiday park in Whiting Bay on the beautiful Scottish Isle of Arran, with less than thirty caravan homes. Set within three acres of grassland with onsite parking and laundry facilities, it is the ideal location for a short or long break.
The stunning golden sandy beach at Sandbraes is only 200m away, along with playpark, local shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. The local bus service route runs directly opposite the park entrance. The Whiting Bay Park is open from the 1st of March until the end of October each year.
Please Note: The caravan park is private and renting of caravans is not available. We don't provide pitches for motorhomes, touring caravans or tents. "The Cottage" is available to rent Via Escape2Arran on Facebook or Instagram and also on Airbnb.
The third largest village on the Isle of Arran, Whiting Bay is situated approx 8 miles south of Brodick and was once the site of the longest pier in Scotland. Boasting sandy beaches, a golf course and country walks the village offers plenty of activity. A circular footpath takes you from the village shore up to the stunning Glenashdale Falls, a double cascade of falls, continuing to the Giants Graves, two chambered cairns. From Sandbraes Caravand Park you can take in the panoramic views of the Firth of Clyde, Holy Isle and Goat Fell. Whiting Bay golf course is an 18 hole, par 63 course and sits above the village enjoying spectacular views of the Ayrshire coast and to the north of the village is an Iron Age Fort at Kings Cross Point, known locally as the Viking Fort. The village of Whiting Bay enjoys a superb choice of eateries including café, bar and grill, bistro and restaurant, whilst the shops offer everything from locally sourced groceries to DIY and garden centre.
